Thana’a Al-Khasawneh is an international, strategical, results-oriented and solution focused business executive with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. She has a diverse work experience in the MENA entrepreneurship ecosystems development, women empowerment, retail business, strategical planning, banking and diplomacy. Al-Khasawneh has worked extensively with key policymakers, public sector leaders and entrepreneurs through her role at Mowgli and her independent consultancy roles.
For over two decades as a leader and key advisor in both for-profit and nonprofit arenas, Al-Khasawneh has successfully grown organizations and helped them achieve outstanding financial and/or social returns. With extensive experience as a senior manager in associations, foundations, retail businesses, and banking sector, she brought a unique strategic and outcomes-oriented perspective to developing and scaling innovative approaches to drive measurable results.
Al-Khasawneh is a founding member and currently acts as the Executive Director for Jordan Business and Professional Women's Association, focusing on gender inclusion to ensure increasing women participation in the economy, with the right gender perspective being mainstreamed through innovative solutions and approaches tailored and designed to change mindsets and ensure transformation happens. On the other hand she is a business consultant, and a professional trainer/facilitator and mentor in human capital project designing, marketing, business management, business development and mentor-ship.
Al-Khasawneh was the Mowgli Foundation Fundraising and Business Development MENA Director for the last 7 years, where she supported the foundation's growth across the Middle East, North Africa and the Gulf. Having initially joined Mowgli as a mentor, she has developed coaching and facilitating capacities throughout the last ten years, enabling her to become a co-Facilitator in various projects in the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Al-Khasawneh has held several leading positions in management and marketing, in the Sultan Center Food Product Company KSC – SAFEWAY and Egyptian Arab Land Bank, Treasury & Investment Department.
