Major Accomplishments

Dr. Nadia Bezad is a public health specialist and dermatologist specialized in sexual reproductive health with a diploma from the University of Public Health and Community School of Medicine in France. She is currently the President of the Pan African Anti-Aids Organization, and Vice President of OPALS International. She is the coordinator of four prominent health networks: the 20 CTA network in Morocco (outpatient treatment centers for STIs / AIDS), the ROMS (network of Moroccan NGOs fighting against AIDS), the Defense Collective and Promotion of Generic Medicines, and the Civil Coalition for the Promotion of Reproductive Health. She is also a member of numerous other organizations. In 2008, Bezad was elected woman of the year for social work achievements. In 2015, she was awarded the Knight of the Legion of Honor by the Ambassador of France in recognition of her accomplishments.
