Major Accomplishments

Dr. Danah Abdulla is a Palestinian-Canadian designer, educator and researcher. She is currently a Senior Lecturer in Communication Design at Brunel University London. Previously, she was a Lecturer on Design Management and Cultures at the London College of Communication, University of the Arts.
Abdulla holds a Ph.D. in Design from Goldsmiths, University of London (2018). In 2010, she founded Kalimat Magazine, an independent, non-profit magazine about Arab thought and culture. Abdulla is also a founding member of the Decolonising Design platform, a Research Associate at the Design Against Crime Research Centre at Central Saint Martins, and she is on the advisory board for Nuqat, a yearly creative conference based in Kuwait.
