Dr. Asma Lamrabet

Dr. Asma Lamrabet is a Hematologist at the Avicena Public Hospital in Rabat, with focuses on health, women, and education. She was the Director of the Center for Women's Studies in Islam in the Rabita Mohammadia des Oulémas du Maroc from 2011 to March 2018. She is also a founding member of the Fatéma Mernissi Chair at Mohammed V University in Rabat (est. 2017), as well as a member of the Moroccan National Committee on Education and Culture since 2015, a member of the academic board of the Foundation Euroarabe of Studies of Islamic Civilization in Granada, and Coordinator of the Master Gender Studies at Euroarabe foundation at Granada University.
She is the author of numerous articles and essays such as: "Femmes. Islam. Occident." (2011), "Femmes et hommes dans le Coran: Quelle égalité?" (2012) (Prize from the Arabian Woman of Sociology 2013), "Femmes et religions: Points de vue de femmes du Maroc."
